Parts of Joshimath have sunk by 3.6ft, says report

The National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) has released a report stating that certain areas of Joshimath in India have sunk vertically by over 3 feet and moved by 1.4 feet. The report highlights the development of steep, air-filled fissures extending to a depth of over 100ft.
